    The Voting Rights Act moved our country closer to our founding ideals than ever before. The Supreme Court’s decision to gut the VRA has allowed for the GOP to attack voting rights nationwide. Democrats will fight to ensure all Americans' voices are heard at the ballot box.

    61 years ago today, the Voting Rights Act of 1965 was signed into law, banning discriminatory practices targeting Black Americans’ right to vote. As the GOP undermines voting rights nationwide, we will keep fighting back until the right to vote is protected for all Americans.
