Beta features in WordPress Studio
WordPress Studio includes a rotating set of Beta features that offer early access to functionality still in development. These features let you explore upcoming capabilities, test them in real workflows, and share feedback before they become part of the stable Studio experience.
How to access Beta features
You can enable Beta features from the Studio → Beta Features menu. Once enabled, any available features appear directly in the app and behave like any other part of your workflow.

Beta features change regularly throughout the Studio development process, and there may be periods when no Beta features are available in the app.
Trying out Beta features is a great way to support Studio’s ongoing improvement. Your feedback helps shape what ships, what changes, and what gets prioritized next.
New Studio experience
The new WordPress Studio desktop experience brings agentic AI building to WordPress Studio. Once enabled, you can direct Studio Code to build sites, plugins, and themes using natural language prompts.

It also includes a new in-app live preview of the local Studio site, so you can see any changes you make, AI-assisted or otherwise, as you build them.
To try out the new desktop experience, either enable the New Studio experience option from the Beta Features menu, or click the Try it button at the top of Studio’s General settings page.

To switch back, click the Switch to Classic button at the bottom of the General settings page.
