Proposed deletion of Center for the Defense of Free Enterprise

[edit]
Notice

The article Center for the Defense of Free Enterprise has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Tagged for notability concerns for almost 12 years, and for needing more references for 9 years. No other language has an article from which to translate. Poorly sourced article about a private think tank.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion based on established criteria.

If the proposed deletion has already been carried out, you may request undeletion of the article at any time. Bearian (talk) 04:47, 7 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Help with the Unite America article?

[edit]

My name is Kevin Singer and I'm the communications director for Unite America. I'm trying to help update the UA article, which is out of date and full of promotional content. I've been posting edit requests on the talk page to address this. Any help editors here could provide would be appreciated. KS at Unite America (talk) 14:41, 9 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

There is a discussion here that I think would benefit from more eyes from those familiar with WP:NORG. Note it has already been advertised elsewhere . Sirfurboy🏄 (talk) 10:40, 17 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hopewell Fund request

[edit]

I'm the chief of staff at the Hopewell Fund. I'm trying to update the article infobox with current revenue and other figures. I posted a request on the talk page. Could somebody here help me out? Is there somewhere else I should post about this? Thanks. JB at Hopewell Fund (talk) 14:39, 29 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

New article might not meet WP:NORG

[edit]

Hi. A new article was recently created for VenuesWest, a sport venue operating organisation in Western Australia. I've tagged the article with multiple issues. Does this project have any thoughts on the article? I feel it has WP:NORG concerns. DaHuzyBru (talk) 14:16, 2 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

COI Edit Request Seeking Reviewer: International Relief and Development

[edit]

I have an open COI edit request at Talk:International Relief and Development Inc. that could use a reviewer. I have a disclosed conflict of interest as an employee of the organization. I prepared an updated sandbox draft at User:UmmmK/sandbox. Any willing editor's review would be appreciated. An explanation of edits is provided in the May 2026 thread. Question about Denise O'Leary

[edit]

So, I added a note to Smithsonian Institution#Current Board of Regents about her, yesterday, saying the following:

"The April 13, 2026 meeting of the Board of Regents still lists her as a member, with the New York Times writing on April 3, 2026 that "though the Regents voted months ago to renominate two members for second terms, neither of those candidates — Denise O’Leary of Colorado and Franklin D. Raines of the District of Columbia — have had their names forwarded to Congress for reasons that remain unclear."

Does anyone have other information on her present term? What I mean is that it is my understanding that her first six-year term ended on April 10th of this year, but a resolution never passed the U.S. Congress which renewed her for a second six-year-term. Despite her term expiring, she is still listed on the Board. I just want to make sure I'm not missing something here. In solidarity - Historyday01 (talk) 12:25, 17 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
