Shrek (franczyza)
Shrek – amerykańska franczyza medialna wytwórni DreamWorks Animation, będąca adaptacją ilustrowanej książki „Shrek!” autorstwa Williama Steiga[1]. Głównym bohaterem serii jest ogr o imieniu Shrek, który rozpoczyna życie w świecie baśni[2].
W ramach franczyzy powstały cztery pełnometrażowe filmy animowane: Shrek (2001), Shrek 2 (2004), Shrek Trzeci (2007)[3] i Shrek Forever (2010)[4], a w 2027 premierę będzie miał Shrek 5[5]. Zrealizowano poza tym m.in. krótkometrażowy film animowany Shrek 3-D (2023), dwa okolicznościowe filmy telewizyjne: Pada Shrek (2007) i Shrek ma wielkie oczy (2010), spektakl broadwayowski – Shrek the Musical (2008–2010)[6] oraz kilkanaście gier komputerowych: Shrek (2001), Shrek: Hassle at the Castle (2002), Shrek: Extra Large (2002), Shrek: Super Party (2002), Shrek 2 (2004), Shrek SuperSlam (2005), Shrek Smash n’ Crash Racing (2006), Shrek the Third (2007), Shrek n’ Roll (2007) i Shrek Forever After (2010).
Spin-offów doczekał się także Kot w butach, o którego losach powstały m.in. dwa filmy pełnometrażowe: Kot w butach (2011) i Kot w butach: Ostatnie życzenie (2022)[7], dwa filmy krótkometrażowe: Kot w butach: Trzy diabły (2012) i Puss in Boots: The Trident (2023) oraz serial Przygody Kota w butach (2015–2018)[8].
