Public Engagement
The Academy runs an annual programme of public outreach and engagement events across the spectrum of our activities.
Policy
We offer an independent trusted space for robust and respectful discourse bringing together academia, government, civil society, and the private sector. We draw on the knowledge and expertise of our members and our research initiatives to shape and contribute to policy debates. We represent Irish research in national and international scholarly networks and contribute to international scientific exchange and policy discussion

Our research is primarily focussed around 12 areas in the Humanities and Sciences.
Learning and Educational Resources
The Royal Irish Academy has developed resources that are of use in the classroom. The goal is to motivate and inspire primary, second level and third level students on the island of Ireland
