Sign Up & Account Issues
I want to sign up but it won’t let me confirm my email? What do I do?
We have been experiencing some issues with Hotmail, Outlook and Live. We are manually confirming emails, so this may not be done immediately. Please email [email protected] if you have been affected.
How do I verify? Why do I need to verify my account?
To ensure the integrity of our democratic processes, we need to be sure that our membership systems are not manipulated and our members are genuine. To that end, we ask members to confirm their identity, either via text message or a credit card. Verification is straightforward and can be done on the members’ portal here.
I’m having issues verifying my account. Where can I get help?
To ensure members have a smooth experience throughout this election process we have set up a dedicated inbox for verification issues – [email protected].
You can also call our dedicated verification hotline on 02039166506 between the hours of 10am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
I signed up to Zarah Sultana’s portal on the 18th September and again on the official portal. What do I need to do?
You are a member of Your Party, with access to our membership portal using the logins you created when signing up to the official portal.
We would advise you to seek a refund from MOU Operations Ltd, who received the money from the unofficial portal launched on 18th September. They can be contacted at [email protected].
For more on refunds, see below.
Payments & Refund Queries
I want to cancel my membership, how do I do it?
We’re sorry to see any members leave. It hasn’t been the smoothest start, but the crises facing us can only be tackled by a mass, democratic movement. However, if you’ve made up your mind, we understand.
If you signed up under the official portal, you can cancel your membership on our members’ portal at https://in.yourparty.uk/, under ‘account details’.
I set up a payment on the first, unauthorised portal and I want to cancel this – what should I do?
You can cancel the recurring card payment (sometimes called a Continuous Payment Authority) to the first portal directly with your bank/card issuer. Ask them to stop further payments to the merchant shown on your statement. They do not need the ‘merchant’s’ permission.
Refunds must be sought through MOU Operations Ltd, as they hold the data and payments from that launch. MOU Operations Ltd can be contacted at [email protected].
If you have further questions about finance, please email [email protected].
How do I get a refund of membership fees paid to the first portal?
A: Membership fees and data under the unauthorised portal publicised by Zarah Sultana on the 18th September are processed by a different group, MOU Operations Ltd. Your Party does not hold or have access to the money or data held by MOU Operations Ltd. Therefore you should seek any refunds from MoU in the first instance. Their email is [email protected].
