Every platform shift rebuilds its financial layer. Mobile did it. AI is doing it now. The infrastructure built for the last era can't carry this one. Polar is not a billing platform with usage bolted on. But the financial substrate modern software should've had all along.

Billing before AI asked "what did they pay?" The new one has to ask "what did they cost?" Polar asks both.
