Ypsolophidae is a family of moths that belongs within the superfamily Yponomeutoidea.[1]
The family was erected in 1845 by Achille Guenée, a French entomologist and lawyer. They are included within the family Plutellidae by many authors.
Taxonomy
[edit]The family contains more than 90 genera and around 360 species that are divided into two subfamilies, Ypsolophinae and Ochsenheimeriinae, and various genera that are currently unassigned to a subfamily. A list of genera and their assignment can be found below:[1]
