Image licences

and are both great images, but we have to know the exact nature of the licence which MS grants. Following the links you provided, it's not clear which licence MS is offering them under, or even if they are from that site. (This may be due to a session/login issue). If there is a static link for either the images or the licences, that would be great. Let me know if I can be of assistance in tracking this down. Historybuff 19:42, 8 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi Historybuff. I'm new to this and I'm not sure how to contact you. These are free images Microsoft provides. I can tell you that these come up from an free image download search. The search place says "free". There is another section where you do pay for rights to some images. These are not in that section. Here's a link that I found. It seems to me that use of the images are acceptable. http://www.microsoft.com/about/legal/permissions/default.mspx. I'll update the images with this link if this seems acceptable to you.
