Sex worker AP (filmmaker Annapurna Sriram) is cursed. A tarot reader tells her she will need to complete a purification ritual, and so AP embarks on a quest, accompanied by her non-binary twin flame Danni. With a spunky cast that includes Brandon Flynn, Damian Young and François Arnaud, Sriram’s directorial debut confidently coasts the cinematic wakes of John Waters and Gregg Araki, while charting its own sex-positive picaresque through the economic underbelly of the American South.
