Jeffrey Martin Landry (born December 23, 1970) is an American lawyer and politician who is the 57th Governor of Louisiana since 2024. He became the Attorney General of Louisiana on January 11, 2016. Landry is a former U.S. Representative for Louisiana's 3rd congressional district and a member of the Republican Party.

In October 2022, Landry announced his candidacy for Governor of Louisiana.[1] He was elected governor in October 2023, after winning 51% of the vote.[2]

In December 2025, President Donald Trump picked Landry to be a "special envoy to Greenland".[3] The role is not an official role in the State Department and Denmark does not see Landry as an ambassador.[4] Landry said he would work to "make Greenland part of the U.S."[5] Denmark said they did not support the decision in Trump making Landry an envoy.[6]
