Matteo Schablas (14 March 2005 in Aichach, Germany) is a Austrian professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Austrian Bundesliga club Austria Wien.
Career
[change | change source]Schablas began his career at TSV Inchenhofen. He moved to FC Augsburg for the 2014/15 season. For the 2015/16 season he went to the youth team of FC Bayern Munich. From the 2021/22 season he was part of the squad for the U-19 team, for which he also played in the UEFA Youth League in the 2022/23 season.
For the 2023/24 season, Schablas moved to the Austrian second division club FC Liefering. He made his debut in the second division 0 28 July 2023 when he came on as a substitute for Moussa Kounfolo Yeo in the 80th minute against FC Dornbirn 1913 on the first day of that season. [1]
Schablas joined Austrian Bundesliga club Austria Wien on 31 January 2025.[2]
National team
