The Oceania Chapter of the System Dynamics Society welcomes academics, students, practitioners and other modellers in Australia, New Zealand and our neighbours to further systems thinking and system dynamics applications and methodology.
The objectives of the chapter are:
- To identify, extend and unify knowledge contributing to the understanding of System Dynamics.
- To promote the development and application of the field of System Dynamics and the free interchange of learning and research in all related fields.
- To encourage and develop educational programs in System Dynamics.
We invite you to engage with the chapter through our Annual Symposium, regular Chapter Webinars, and other events run through the international society. In general, chapter events are free of charge and open to members and non-members.

Workshop: System Dynamics Modelling with Stella
Thanks to everyone who joined our System Dynamics Modelling with Stella workshop on Monday, 25th May 2026, both online and in person at the Sydney School of Public Health. It was great to see engagement with hands‑on simulation skills, from stock–flow modelling to scenario testing.
Special thanks to Mark Heffernan, CEO, Dynamic Operations, for leading such a practical and engaging session.
