Status Ailments are negative conditions brought about by:
- Magic Items - frequently from the Magic Stones added to Weapons
- Skills - Many spell-type skills inflict status ailments
- Monsters - Physical attacks, special abilities, etc
Status ailments are always listed in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS
| Status Ailment | Description |
|---|---|
| BLEED | Causes vitality to drain over time |
| BURNT | Slightly slows and distracts. |
| CHARM | Causes the afflicted to follow the orders of the Charmer |
| CONCUSSION | General incoherence |
| CONFUSION | Causes the afflicted to randomly pick a target |
| FEAR | Afflicted flees. Can also render them immobile |
| FROZEN | Afflicted cannot move |
| PARALYZE | Very strong paralysis can even prevent breathing |
| POISON | Drains vitality |
| PUPPET | Essentially a very strong CHARM |
| SHOCK | Similar to STUN |
| SLEEP | Afflicted falls asleep |
| STUN | Delay action. Stuns can stack to long durations |
