Some personal news: I'm joining @Box as a Senior Developer Relations Engineer!
Iâll be helping developers build AI agents that can search, reason over, and act on company content securely.
So, why Box?
(1/9)
Why Boxes on @Algorand is a HUGE deal!! 𤯠It can be used for:
1. Applications that need larger or unbound contract storage.
2. Applications that want to store data per user, but do not wish to require users to opt-in to the contract.
That is a block containing 21,954 transactions with a 100% success rate.
Allow me to paint the picture more clearly.
Note that many blockchains calculate their "theoretical" max TPS using the simplest form of transaction, a token transfer.
Algorand says it can handle 10,000 ~
1) "@Algorand has ~3.3 block time with ZERO-second block finality"
What does that even mean!?! đ¤
Let's get rid of the jargon and really understand what we mean here.
For those who's thinking, "what's the big deal... with 2K nodes?":
Algorand has 10K+ TPS, 2.8 block time, and instant finality while having 2000+ nodes validating & protecting the network. Many believe the more nodes you have, the slower the network gets, and it's true for some
I never thought this day would come, but here goes. After four amazing years, today is my last day working at the Algorand Foundation as DevRel.
long thread incomingđ
Algorand now has the 2nd most nodes among top L1 chains.
This tells you several things:
- running an Algorand node is easy
- running an Algorand node is cheap
- running an Algorand node is rewarding
- Algorand never lies about its focus on decentralization.
You are seeing
Zero mentions of Solana on the app.
Familiar logins.
Clear value prop.
Yes, you can use blockchains without shouting the protocol to the end user.
There will always be room for dApps with web3 native user flow, but this is the way to meet 99% of your end users.
Love the app
In August we shot our shot. We said we'd take Dupe to #1 in the app store this November. Today, we did it.
You won't believe what we're going to do next.
Just to clarify, that right there was a mainnet Asset transfer transaction sending USDC.
Not some âWeâll handle the payment on our end and then get your crypto in 10 minutes to make sure there are bo reorgsâ
This is only possible because Algorand has instant finality
I hope
Hello Denver đ
I will be giving a talk at the AlgoRanch side event about how any developer can jumpstart their Algorand dev journey today.
If you havenât registered yet, donât worry đ

See you soon!
Python on @Algorand is here!
It's a developer preview so not all of the features are there but it's open for devs to test it, play around with it, and file issues if they find bugs.
This portion of the README caught my eye as well. I see devs building Python libraries with
