Work with Us

See how we build, deploy and stand behind your network.

A network is only as good as the team that runs it. Because we own and engineer the fiber across our footprint, the team that designs your network is the team that runs it.

Work With Us

How We Work

With Lightpath, the work starts with your routes. We map them before we quote them. Because we own and engineer the fiber across our footprint, the engineers who scope your project are the ones who design and operate it. That means fewer handoffs, fewer unknowns and a single point of contact from the first conversation through turn-up and the life of the route.

Start with a route review

  • We map your locations against our network and show where your sites are on owned fiber and where they sit off-net. The detailed route walk happens in a qualified route review, before any purchase commitment.

Engineer the design

  • Sales engineering sizes capacity, route diversity and the products that fit the workload, matched to what the route can actually deliver.

Build and turn up

  • On owned routes we build and turn up the connection. Where a site extends beyond our footprint, we deliver over Type 2 and coordinate the carrier so you keep a single point of contact.

Support that stays with the route

  • When you are on our network, you reach the engineers who run it. Monitoring, escalation and service-level agreements (SLAs) are covered in the service and support model.

Arrived at Lightpath through an agent?

  • Your agent stays your point of contact and our engineers run the network behind it.

This is where you see how Lightpath engages: the first route review, deployment, day-two support and the planning tools that help you scope a project before you commit.

How a Lightpath connection gets deployed

Deployment timelines depend on the route. A connection on existing owned fiber turns up faster than one that needs new construction to reach a site. Here is how the process runs, and where it moves fastest.

Service and support, from the team that runs the network

Support models look alike on paper. The difference shows up when something happens. When you are on our network, you reach the engineers responsible for it, not a ticket queue between you and the fix.

Tools to scope your network before you commit

Plan a route, size capacity and understand the path before you sign anything. The design guide is self-serve; the capacity and latency tools take your inputs and hand off to an engineer for anything specific to your route, so every number we show is one we can stand behind.

Partner with Lightpath

Most people who land here already work with a Lightpath partner. Lightpath runs separate programs for agents and referral partners, each with its own page and team. Tell us what you are interested in and our channel team routes you to the right place.
